Amanda Cowan, M.S.

Amanda joined the Baxter Lab in February 2023 as a Research Associate and was promoted to Laboratory Manager in 2026. She earned her Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from the The University of Texas Health Science Center in 2019. Amanda brings approximately eight years of clinical laboratory experience, specializing in infectious disease testing with extensive expertise in molecular diagnostic techniques. Outside of work, Amanda is an avid animal lover and cares for four dogs and three cats. In her free time, she enjoys practicing Pilates, reading, and watching crime documentaries.
