Emily Jordan

Emily Jordan is a graduate student in the South Texas Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD Program) studying alphavirus neuroimmune environment and prior infection exposure (PIE) on growth kinetics and the immune environment in mice cancer models. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas at Rio Grade Valley (UTRGV) where she studied drug delivery systems for platinum resistant ovarian cancer. Outside the lab, Emily enjoys gardening, art, playing video games and reading.
