Hi! My name is Daniela Serrano and I am a Research Associate in Dr. Kulkarni’s lab. I am from Mexico but moved to the United States around 2010. I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a Master’s of Science in Biotechnology at Texas Tech University. I joined the lab in April 2023 and have since focused on providing support to my lab-mates and the laboratory itself. I am responsible for managing and maintaining the lab along with performing experiments that will advance our purpose of deciphering the role and relevance of Long Non-Coding RNA relative to infectious diseases caused by COVID, EboV and HIV.
