Kevin Preuss

Dr. Kevin Preuss PhD, MBA, PMP

As a business-minded life sciences professional, Dr. Preuss strives to utilize his skills in project management, process improvement, and communication to help the Maximum Containment Contract Research program at Texas Biomedical Research Institute function at peak proficiency.  Dr. Preuss has over ten years of laboratory management experience in a variety of scientific settings, from large public academic laboratories to small private biotechnology startups, with the last four years being a formal project management position working in contract research.   Dr. Preuss holds a Ph.D. in Biology from Duke University, an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University-San Antonio, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management International (PMI).

At Texas Biomed, Dr. Preuss works with Study Directors, veterinary staff, technical staff, and quality staff to manage scheduling, identify potential risks to timely study completions, and coordinate activities across the various stakeholders.
