Maria del Pilar Villegas

Maria del Pilar Villegas is a Biological Science graduate of La Salle University in Bogota, Colombia and recipient of a MS from Incarnate Word University, San Antonio, Texas. Maria joined the Cole Laboratory team in 2004 and has participated in multiple microarray projects using mainly Illumina technology to assess genetic variation and DNA methylation. In addition, she oversees periodic maintenance of equipment, orders supplies for the laboratory, and helps manage administrative aspects for the lab’s projects.
