Research Bio
I graduated from my bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology and a concentration in Neuroscience from the University of the Incarnate Word. I am the research assistant for Ganusov’s laboratory in theoretical immunology. I am in charge of performing the imaging data segmentation and data analysis for all of the laboratory’s projects including the tracking of T-cells, sporozoites and Mycobacterium tuberculosis in different organs in order to understand the pathogenesis of Malaria and Tuberculosis. My role also includes the exploration of new methods of imaging data analysis and implement them as routine methodology in the lab.
