Samira Mokhtari is a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Ebrahimi's lab at Texas Biomed. She has more than ten years of hands-on research experience in molecular virology, and is capable of project management. She has experience working with HBV, HCV (viral-host interaction) and Mycoviruses. Her current research focuses on the correlation of APOBEC3 enzymes in evolving the drug resistance of HIV.
