Dr. Manaharan's research focuses on Natural Products and Drug Discovery, Chromatography, Genomics, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), and Molecular Biology. Her work has resulted in 23 journal papers, 2 book chapters, and recognition at numerous conferences, reflected in an H-index of 13. She is also a peer reviewer for international journals such as the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, Annual Research and Review in Biology, and the British Journal of Medicine and Medical Research. Thamilvaani has earned professional certifications in Governance and Autonomy of Higher Education (AKEPT), Problem-Based Learning (PBL),
and Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). In 2018, she was appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Biotechnology at the University College of Yayasan Pahang, Malaysia, where she established strategic partnerships with both
national and global higher education institutions, focusing on sustainable development and academic operations. Currently, Thamilvaani serves in as Associate Professor role at the University of Cyberjaya, where she is involved in teaching and research, program coordination, academic pursuits, and program development.
