Apurva Kanekar has a master's degree in biotechnology (Industrial and Biomedical Sciences) from the University of New Hampshire with strong hands-on experience in molecular biology, microbiology, and cell culture. Her research experience focuses on antibiotic discovery, gene analysis, and mammalian cell line optimization, including the isolation and characterization of antibiotic-producing soil bacteria, CHO cell culture optimization for therapeutic protein production, and gene expression studies in cancer models. Apurva has extensive experience with PCR, antimicrobial screening, aseptic techniques, and GLP-compliant laboratory workflows, supported by prior industry experience as a Junior Research Associate. She is passionate about translating experimental data into meaningful biological insights and contributing to innovative research in therapeutic development and biomedical science.
