Yadira Plascencia Garza, B.Sc

Yadira Plascencia is a research assistant who received her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Incarnate Word. Prior to this position, she was Cytology Prep Technician at Methodist Hospital where she was able to gain hands-on experience in clinical lab. She is grounded to biomedical science with experience in immunology research. During her studies, she has developed a strong passion for biomedical science, studying the mechanisms of infection and different models to study immune responses. Outside the lab, Yadi likes to go to the movies with family, play with her dogs and go to the gym.
