Aging-related cellular dysfunction is one of the main contributors to dysregulated immune responses and increased susceptibility to infectious disease in older adults. We believe that mitochondria are one of the major contributors to this dysregulated state, and we are currently developing new treatment strategies to combat cellular aging at the mitochondrial level
