Kathrin is in her 3rd year Ph.D. research which focuses on the impact of schistosome genetic variation on immunopathology in mouse host. She is receiving training in genetics, immunology, and bioinformatics. Kathrin also provides helping hands in maintaining the schistosome (blood fluke) parasite lifecycle in the lab.
