Brenden Determann II, M.S.

Brenden Determann II is a graduate student in the UT Health San Antonio Integrated Biomedical Science Program, where he is working on his Ph.D. in Molecular Immunology and Microbiology. He is interested in pathways and mechanisms utilized in the host immune response to combat infectious diseases to advance the future development in host directed therapeutics. Originally from the Dallas Metroplex, he obtained two B.S. degrees from Oklahoma State University in 2017 and obtained his M.S. from UT Health San Antonio in 2023. He is currently training and conducting research in Dr. Larry Schlesinger’s lab at Texas Biomed.
