Her Ph.D. research, conducted in the Anderson Lab, focused on the impact of schistosome genetic variation on immunopathology in mice. During her Ph.D., she received training in genetics, immunology, and bioinformatics. Kathrin is now an Associate Variant Curation Scientist at GeneDX.
  • Stephanie NORDMEYER, PhD - Stephanie graduated with her Ph.D. in December 2024. Her doctoral research, conducted in the Anderson Lab, focused on the interactions between the Biomphalaria snail host microbiome and Schistosoma mansoni parasites, as well as the potential genetic determinants influencing the snail microbiome's composition. During her Ph.D., she gained extensive training in genetics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics.
