Emily is a recent graduate with a B.A in Wildlife Biology and is currently a research assistant in the Anderson lab. She assists in maintaining the schistosome (human blood fluke) lifecycle in the lab, while simultaneously cultivating her expertise in molecular biology, immunology, and genetics. Emily’s research hopes to focus on schistosome parasites’ host specificity, drug resistance, and transmission.
