Stephanie is a 6th year PhD student, investigating the interactions between Biomphalaria glabrata snail host, host microbiome, and Schistosoma mansoni parasites (blood flukes). She hopes to get insight into the genetic determinants influencing the composition of the snail host microbiome. Steph is receiving training in genetics, molecular immunology, bioinformatics.
