We were excited to welcome Dr. Hannah C. Justen, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Davis, to our lab meeting via Zoom this week. Hannah delivered an engaging presentation titled “Using natural hybrid zones to study barriers to gene flow”, on hybridization, migration and speciation in Swainson’s Thrushes. Her talk sparked lively discussion, offering our group valuable new perspectives and ideas.
